CARS.COM — Election exhaustion got you runnin’ on fumes? You might consider escaping to La-La Land for some sun, stars — and, of course, cars. The 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show opens to the public on Nov. 18 and promises to showcase all the newest and coolest four-wheeled vessels to carry you to your happy place.
May 05, 2016 TCP Auto-tuning slow network performance. For the most part, I have seen the TCP Auto-tuning slow network performance issue come into play with new server OS’es and client OS’es talking to legacy server OS’es like Windows Server 2003. Especially in file copies, RDP sessions and SQL query performance the issue has been evident. The Chicago Auto Show is the nation's largest and longest-running auto show. With more than 1 million square feet of exhibit space, visitors will find more than 1000 vehicles, technology displays, and hand's on driving experiences. FOr questions, call 630-495-2282.
L.A. has a rep for being big, flashy and heavily emphasizing the luxurious, the exotic and the environmentally conscious — and 2016 is no exception. SUVs dominate the roster of vehicles confirmed for the show, with the 2018 Volkswagen Atlas and Ford EcoSport among those we haven’t seen before, and the 2017 Land Rover Discovery, 2017 Mazda CX-5 and Toyota C-HR among those we have (in some form or another).
Luxury vehicles are also making a strong showing, naturally, in a city where 1 in 3 vehicles seem to be either a BMW 5 Series or Porsche 911. In addition to the Discovery, the luxury lineup includes the 2018 Audi Q5, Mercedes-AMG E63 S sedan and two versions of the Porsche Panamera.
Fear not, non-celebrity-civilian types, there also will be fare for you to look at that you might actually be able to consider buying. The 2017 version of the Nissan Versa Note should strike the right chord among practical people. On the other end of the spectrum, however, is the Cadillac Escala luxury sedan; on a scale of 1 to 10, the concept peaks our curiosity in the double digits.
The L.A. Auto Show kicks off with a media-only preview on Wednesday and Thursday at the Los Angeles Convention Center, 1201 S. Figueroa St., where we, of course, will be to cover the action in full, so check back often. The show opens to the public Nov. 18 and continues through Nov. 27. Exhibit hours are 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Nov. 18 and 19, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Nov. 20, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Nov. 21 and 22, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Nov. 23, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 24, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Nov. 25 and 26, and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Nov. 27.
